Being a victim
Have you received a call from Replay Model Agency in London? Have they told you that you're the one they are looking for and everything you have to do is to come and let them do you few pictures? No? Don't. Witthin one step, within entering their studio, withing opening the door to hell you start a journey threw pain and problems and all because of their beautiful lies.
Once I had a call from them I was well excited. Photoshoot, trip to London, no charges. How naive... First thing I heard was money they have to take.
-But someone on the phone said that I don't have to pay anything!
-Oh no, it had to be misunderstanding... Here is our offer.
Contract. Investment, I thought. Why not. I will pay a big amount of money, but this might give me a job. I didn't want to become a model, but who wouldn't want to be on big festivals or take small part in video clips? I left a deposit-75pounds. For the next six months I supposed to pay another 75 pounds.Total- 525 pounds.
The problem has started few weeks after going to London.
First of all, jobs. That was absolutely ridiculous. I was told that loads of girls get jobs because of their agency but in fact all the offers required 'chineese girl with blue eyes' or offers for people with villas so they can show off in crisb in MTV.
Because I signed a contract, I was concious about nessesity of paying. As student, sometimes I had financial problem. I had few requests if maybe there is a chance i can postpone a charging day for a week. "No problem" they said. But they charged me whenever they wanted.
3 months later their site stopped excist. I've found out that at first they were called Gueva, then Zebra, the owner changed his name... The BBC made a short document about them. Scam. Thats what they are
I have decided not to pay. I called them to annouce my decision. As far as I signed a contract for profile and jobs that stopped exsist I didnt see a sense to make them richer...
For another 3 months nothing happened. And suddenly they back. Well, not exactly. I cant e-mail them, because it still doesnt exsist. Without a warning though, I got a red letter. Apparently, for some reason, I have to pay much more money that I should.
See you in court then?
